When it comes to Car Alarms there's almost too much choice and it's hard to know what's best for you and your vehicle. The technology has certainly come on leaps and bounds in recent years and it's very common to find alarms with all manner of features. Some will automatically close all your electric windows and locks every door. Some will communicate with your smartphone (allowing you to turn on / off the alarm, start the ignition, receive calls or texts if the alarm is activated, etc). Some have hidden recording devices including video and audio. Immobilisers too have advanced, no longer being just a basic engine "off" switch, but now being start enough to carefully reduce power in the event of being stolen, allowing a gradual and safe stoppage.
